AHA Heartsaver (Aug 14th)

Emergency training for everyday heroes

This 5-hour in-person course is designed for non-medical individuals who want to be ready to respond in a crisis. Perfect for parents, teachers, coaches, childcare providers, and concerned citizens, this course blends CPR, AED, and basic first aid into one accessible, hands-on training session.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Perform high-quality CPR on adults, children, and infants

  • Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

  • Respond to choking emergencies

  • Provide first aid for injuries, burns, allergic reactions, and more

  • Administer Naloxone (Narcan) and Epinephrine auto-injectors

  • Control bleeding and apply tourniquets

Course Details:

  • Taught by certified instructors using AHA-approved curriculum

  • Includes lecture, hands-on skills practice, and scenario-based training

  • Great for individuals or community groups

Certification:

  • 2-year AHA Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED certification card issued upon successful completion

  • Meets requirements for workplace, school, and volunteer certifications

No prior medical experience required.
