Wilderness First Aid Course
Perfect for outdoor professionals, hunters, and adventurers, this immersive, all-outdoor, hands-on course takes place entirely on the trail. Over two full days, participants learn and apply essential wilderness medical skills through realistic scenarios and practical exercises.
Topics include:
Primary assessment using the MARCH-CHECK™ algorithm
CPR, rescue breathing, and choking interventions
Wound management, bleeding control, and tourniquet application
Fracture identification and splinting techniques
Environmental emergencies including hypothermia, heat illness, altitude sickness, and burns
Bites, stings, and wildlife encounters
Prolonged patient care and monitoring when evacuation is delayed
Evacuation planning and improvised carries
Communication and signaling in remote settings
This course is designed to meet or exceed established standards for wilderness medical training and provides comprehensive preparation for real-world emergencies in backcountry environments.
Upon successful completion, participants receive a Wilderness First Aid Certificate of Completion issued by WyoMed.
MARCH-CHECK™ is a wilderness trauma assessment model developed by WyoMed (Isaac Stiles, 2025) to support education in remote and austere first aid. This system may be used freely for non-commercial educational purposes with proper attribution.

This concise, hands-on training equips the general public with the skills to recognize and control life-threatening bleeding using direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application. The course is adaptable for all age groups and can be customized for specific environments such as schools, workplaces, industrial sites, or community settings. No prior medical experience is needed—just a willingness to learn how to save a life.

Course Title: Bleeding Control: Hands-On Skills Lab (Add-On)
Description:
Take your bleeding control skills to the next level in this optional add-on training lab following the official Stop the Bleed™ course. Using TrueClot® advanced wound packing task trainers with simulated blood and realistic anatomy, this session gives students hands-on experience with lifelike bleeding scenarios — including large caliber gunshot wounds, knife/laceration injuries, and junctional (inguinal) hemorrhages.You’ll practice proper packing, compression, and hemorrhage control using simulated hemostatic gauze and pressurized blood simulant. Our trainers feature internal bone structures, blood flow response, and deep wound cavities for realistic tactile feedback — simulating conditions far beyond what’s possible in a standard Stop the Bleed™ class.
This course is designed for:
Students who have just completed Stop the Bleed™
Public safety personnel, SAR, EMS, outdoor leaders, or anyone seeking deeper realism
Anyone looking to build muscle memory in high-stress, high-bleed environments
What to Expect:
100% hands-on, skill-focused session
Use of realistic wound models and TrueClot® blood simulant
No lectures or slides — just blood, gauze, and real-world practice
Includes junctional (inguinal) wound trainer use
Class runs approx. 45–60 minutes and takes place immediately following the main Stop the Bleed™ course
Prerequisite: Completion of Stop the Bleed™ (same-day course or prior)
Note: This is a skills lab only and does not issue a separate certification. It is intended to reinforce and deepen competency through immersive, scenario-based repetition.

Designed for healthcare professionals, this in-person course provides essential training in life-saving interventions. The initial course runs 4 hours, with a 2.5-hour refresher option available. Topics include:
High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
Use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
Administration of Naloxone and Epinephrine Auto-Injectors
Bleeding control and proper tourniquet application
The course can be customized to meet the needs of in-hospital and out-of-hospital providers. Upon successful completion, participants receive a 2-year American Heart Association (AHA) certification.

Heat Saver First Aid & CPR Course
Designed for the general public, this 5-hour in-person course provides essential training in emergency response for both adults and children. Ideal for parents, teachers, coaches, and community members, the course covers:High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
Use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
First Aid basics, including wound care, burns, and allergic reactions
Administration of Naloxone and Epinephrine Auto-Injectors
Bleeding control and tourniquet application
Upon successful completion, participants receive a 2-year American Heart Association (AHA) certification.

PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization)
Designed for healthcare providers who may encounter pediatric emergencies, this classroom-based, instructor-led course teaches students how to assess, recognize, and stabilize critically ill children. Through realistic simulations and case-based scenarios, participants learn:Systematic pediatric assessment
Management of respiratory and shock emergencies
Recognition and stabilization of cardiopulmonary arrest
Effective team-based resuscitation
Ideal for non-pediatric physicians, nurses, EMTs, respiratory therapists, school-based providers, and outpatient clinic staff. Upon successful completion, participants receive a 2-year AHA PEARS Provider certification.

Bloodborne Pathogens Training
This in-person course teaches individuals how to protect themselves and others from exposure to blood and potentially infectious materials. Based on the latest AHA Guidelines, it is designed to meet OSHA requirements when combined with site-specific instruction. Participants will learn:How bloodborne pathogens are spread
Precautionary measures to reduce exposure risk
Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Steps to take in case of exposure
Ideal for anyone with a reasonable chance of encountering bloodborne pathogens, including childcare workers, correctional officers, school staff, fitness personnel, hotel housekeeping, maintenance staff, tattoo artists, and more.
Participants receive a certificate of completion.
